This policy explains how Benedict Melodies handles information, both on this website and in Benedict Melodies Uploader, a private tool used only by the owner of the Benedict Melodies YouTube channel.

1. Benedict Melodies Uploader

Benedict Melodies Uploader uses YouTube API Services. It is used only by the channel owner to upload the owner's own videos to the owner's own Benedict Melodies YouTube channel, and to set their titles, descriptions, tags, thumbnails and playlists. It is not offered to the public.

By using YouTube API Services, the Uploader is also subject to the Google Privacy Policy.

What Google and YouTube data is accessed, and why

• Authorisation to upload and manage videos on the owner's YouTube channel, so the Uploader can publish and update the owner's videos.
• Basic channel information, such as the channel name and ID, so the Uploader can confirm it is acting on the correct channel.
• Video metadata the Uploader itself creates, such as titles, descriptions, tags, thumbnails and playlist placement.

How data is stored

• The only item stored is an OAuth access token, kept on the owner's own computer or server. It is never sent to this website or to anyone else.
• No other YouTube data is stored. Any YouTube data held temporarily while an upload runs is deleted or refreshed within 30 days.

Sharing

No Google or YouTube data is shared with any third party. It is not used for advertising, and it is never sold.

Revoking access

Access can be revoked at any time on Google's security settings page: https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions.

Deletion

• If deletion is requested, or access is revoked through the Uploader, all stored data is deleted within 7 days.
• If access is revoked through Google's security settings page, all stored data is deleted within 30 days.

Limited Use

Benedict Melodies Uploader's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

2. This website

• No accounts or logins. You can use every page without signing in.
• Cookies and tracking. This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, may set a strictly necessary security cookie to protect the site from abuse.
• Fonts and icons. Pages load fonts from Google Fonts and icons from Cloudflare's cdnjs, which receive your IP address when delivering them.
• Links. Links to YouTube, Spotify, Instagram and Facebook take you to those services, where their own privacy policies apply.
• Emails. If you email us, we use your message only to reply to you.

If we add new features that collect information, such as advertising or a community prayer wall, we will update this policy before they go live.
